Hi I am Soumya. I am a Linux and
Internet enthusiast and a SAP
consultant by profession. I live in India.
I am a
30 year old living in the
Indian state of
Andhra
Pradesh. Earlier, I
used to
write books, surf the Internet and fix defunct computers for a living.
I love to read novels
by Tom Clancy and drink beer by the Shamirpet lake in Hyderabad.
Travelling
is a passion that I enjoy very much, whether by rail or road, I like
the idea of travelling to any place on earth, particularly Goa in
western India.
I was born in the sleepy town of Balurghat along
the international
border with Bangladesh. I was born in 1975 in a government
hospital where my grandfather was a doctor. I spent most of my
childhood and adolescent years in the
steel township of Rourkela, where my father worked for the
state-run Rourkela Steel Plant. I moved to Hyderabad in 1998
for
higher studies and have been here since.
I dreamed of flying airplanes - being in the
cockpit rather than in
the passenger seat and zooming at supersonic speeds still fascinates
me. However, with the passage of time, I became an engineer, a writer,
a web designer (the legacy still continues) and now finally an ERP
consultant with India's largest software company.
